The long awaited announcement of firmware update for iPhone is out now and so is the new feature list of iPhone firmware 3.0.
The new features are much more then any user and developer have expected.

New firmware features for users
Copy & paste : This is one missing features in previous firmware of iPhone which bring lots of criticism to iPhone, now we will have copy and paste feature in the latest firmware.
MMS : All Multimedia messaging lover will be very happy to know that new firmware is capable of sending MMS.
Spotlight : The universal apple search feature.
Landscape mode : Now landscape mode will be available for SMS, mail and notes.

The best part if this firmware update will be free for iPhone 3G users but if you are iPhone 3G owner , you need to wait till summer for the free upgrade of iPhone firmware 3.0.
