The basic rule of making your blog stand at the top of the crowd is by targeting those sector of Internet which most of bloggers ignore. One of them is entertaining mobile users. With the growth in mobile users it is a great idea to target them and provide them with mobile version of your website. Thanks to Karkey for telling me about this useful plugin.

Mobilepress wordpress plugin comes to a rescue to make your wordpress blog mobile friendly. It also support iPhone as well.

According to the author, it makes your blog mobile SEO friendly

MobilePress also features Mobile SEO which detects Google and Yahoo mobile search bots. These mobile search bots will see the mobile version of you blog which allows your blog to optimized and indexed on Google and Yahoo mobile search.

I installed this plugin and checked my blog on Nokia n95 , blog seems to be working fine on mobile browser.

You can open http://www.shoutmeloud.com on your mobile browser and check the mobile version of shoutmeloud.

Though there is a downside of this plugin, if you use adsense in your blog post, it will make it look very odd in mobile browser.

Good move to use mobile plugin. However as you said the adsense almost takes first page if viewed in opera mini.
Is there a similiar thing for blogger as well ?

Nice, its really strange that people dont realize that mobile is the future, it truly is! Glad that you noticed that. There is actually a huge gap between Web and Telcoms and whoever is willing to bridge that gap might just end up extremely successful!
