Google adsense advertisement is the best way for any blogger to earn through Blogging and there websites but the problem is always about which is the best place to place the adverts. - Above the post
- Sidebar banner
- Sidebar video unit (Though adsense shut down the video unit now)
Though I will suggest place advertisement smartly without hampering your reader view and instead of keeping empty space on your website it’s better to fill it with advertisement. That’s true.. but here at Shoutmeloud I prefer putting up Direct advertisement , which pays better
Else putting up 350 rectangle box on sidebar above the fold has great CTR.
That’s what I call the sweet spot
I don’t bother with sidebars or banners anymore…

I found the problem now. For some reason AdBlock Plus thinks the whole content-box is advertising and hides it. Maybe you could have a look at it?
