in Gmail

Gmail is becoming feature rich with it’s Gmail lab feature. Gmail Lab added a new feature in which user can tag there location as there signature.

These location bases tagging feature will append a line on your Gmail signature which will tell the receiver about your location. Though accuracy can’t be determined with it for the simple reason that it uses the public IP of your system to geotag. So even after this you need to trace senders IP address read my previous post on how to trace gmail sender Ip address.location in gmail signature 300x88

To enable this feature you need to enable the “Location in signature” In your Gmail Labs.

Once you enable this feature , Head Over to your settings and under signature option, Check mark the option which says “Append your location to the signature” .

Now whenever you will write an email your mail will be appended with your signature along with your location.

You can also read my previous article related to Gmail lab feature which let you use twitter inside your Gmail account.
