I have used Infolinks for some time but recently I moved to intext.net from Infolinks. In last 2 months despite of giving great impression my page eCPM was not good and thus impacting my overall earning with in text advertising.
So I have so many options for Intext advertising and I selected InText network. I gave them an advantage of being a professional network and impressive layout. More over they have been actively promoting this new advertising program aggressively.
Intext.net is an advertisement program for bloggers and affiliate marketer. You can make money by becoming a publisher and run intext advertisement on your blog/website. As an affiliate, you can refer advertisers or bloggers to Intext advertising and make money.
First Impression:
As a publisher, first thing which I always look out for is getting all info at one place, with proper navigation. Intext.net’s design attracted me because it made every thing simple and it explains everything clearly on it’s homepage.
Signup process was pretty easy and within minute I was inside my dashboard.
Submitting Website:
This is the part which I enjoyed the most. When you submit your site here (Site where you wish to run advertisement), you can select lots of options like your website category (Multiple options), countries, ad configuration and most important, URL where you don’t like to display ad. You can also give an option to your readers to opt out of viewing intext advertisement. This is another good option, as your regular readers can opt out and they will not get annoyed.
Income Stats:
You can see all the info on report page. You have an option to see the report based on country. Though there is nothing new as compare to other Intext advertising program, but seeing report by country would help you to remove low performing ads for any particular country.
Payout option:
One thing which you would enjoy the most is vast option for payout. You can select anything from Paypal, check, wire transfer, direct bank deposit etc.
Affiliate program:
As a blogger, I also look for advertisement program which offer affiliate program. Now my top 2 advertisement program, buysellads and adsense doesn’t have affiliate program . And I don’t rely on infolinks affiliate program, as they don’t have any affiliate console to see the stats. More over despite of sending more than 1000 clicks, I hardly made $30 from affiliate referral. InText.net comes with an affiliate program and you will be making flat 5% from your referrals. More over you can check stats and monitor everything right from affiliate dashboard.
One Click integration:
Intext give lots of options to integrate Intext on your site. Apart from adding simple JavaScript, you can use their WordPress plugin to add InText advertisement on your site.
Apart from WordPress plugin, they have plugin for Joomla, Drupal and BlogSpot. If you don’t want to add it via plugin, add the simple JavaScript code. This is how I added Intext ad code here at ShoutMeLoud.
What Next?
Go ahead and signup for Intext.net and try out their intext advertisement program. I would be sharing more experience in coming days. Though this is my initial impression which made me integrate them into ShoutMeLoud.
Update: After trying it for couple of days, I moved back to Infolinks.Which is performing much better for me at this moment.

This is interesting. I am currently not running any ads on my blog (well, only my own where I’m an affiliate). I have tested several similar programs, but I have never had any success.
I’m looking forward to your next blog post about Intext.net. Do you know how often they pay, and the limit? Some of the other programs I tested paid once a month, but had a limit of $50 – $100.
Hi Harsh,
Coincidence. I got Intext approved yesterday.
I will try it and see how it goes.
Regd, referral you get only when somebody signup right?
Should give this a shot. Hope it’s better than Infolinks. Thanks for the heads up, Harsh.
Same here will give this a try
Good to see that. Ya I agree with you, Infolinks pays very less. I would sign up for InText soon. As Jens asked, is there a min payout limit ? or it’s like monthly income sent to the paypal ? Also, have you noticed a better pay per day in InText as compared to Infolinks ?
tried infolink but not sure about intext… will try intext soon….
Hi Harsh,
This is Jonathan from Kontera. You might want to give our company a shot, we’re the leading In-Text network with over 15,000 publishers and 140 million unique users per month.
One of the main things that sets us apart from the competition is our Synapse engine, an algorithm that rather than just scanning for keywords actually reads your webpages for meaning. This allows us to use Topical Targeting to identify thousands of concepts and expanded phrases that are relevant to the topics discussed in your content, leading to more effective ads that provide higher CTR and better CPC.
Another advantage of Kontera is our exclusive ad inventory from such globally recognized brands as Nintendo, Microsoft, Wheat Thins, L’Oreal, AT&T, Kmart, National Geographic, HP, and Oreo. These premium, often Rich-Media ads have eye catching visuals, the highest possible CPC, and can only be found on the Kontera network.
We also provide our new publishers with a 70% revenue share, which is the best rate in the business, and offer a $50 bonus to any new publisher who gets at least 25,000 U.S. page views during their first 30 days on the network. Our minimum payout threshold is a low $50, and is payable by either by Check, PayPal, Wire transfers or ACH.
Regarding our affiliate program, we provide our affiliates with a 10% monthly commission of your referrals’ earnings, for the first full year after they sign up on the network.
Please feel free to contact me at jonathanc@kontera.com if you have any further questions.
Thanks,

I will try it very soon. Let my one month old blog get more traffic.
Thanks
Hi Harsh!! nice share but is it better than Infolinks?
I Think Infolinks is better than Intext.I am not using any Intext advertising on my blog because I think Intext advertising is a headache for readers.Do You Think ??
thanks for share will try this soon…
very useful site and using this will help bloggers for sure
thank You
Hi – I work for Vibrant Media. I’d be happy to talk to publishers interested in joining our in-text network. We offer the leading technology as well as the most relevant, most premium, and highest paying ads. You can reach me via email at accountmgmt@vibrantmedia.com. I’ll reply within 1 business day. Thank you.
i just wanna say that i don’t like in text ads,the reason is ads must be like appealing and attracting which will attract users or readers while they surf and not like links on which they have to hover the pointer to see what is behind the link[very rare users are like doing this].
And the double lined links[Ads] may sometimes be abusive or interrupt readers, like while reading this post the ad was shown on the subtitle “Submitting website” which took me to some seo guide giving website and the link too didn’t opened in the new tab.
So what you say about this???
I think infolinks is far better than intext ads…… its old and got lots of advertisers.
Is there any way to know that they are paying more than infolinks? Their related tags advertising is really good which increases payment. Lets see how Intext goes.
Haven’t seriously thought of putting an in-text advertising just yet.. I tried Kontera and Infolinks for a while.. thought that it’d be too intrusive for my readers – so I took them out
Well , me decided to through out infolinks, my daily earnings down from 10$ to 2-3 $, now. will try intext ads.
I am NOT in favour of intext Ads. They are intrusive.
Isn’t these intext ads annoying for regualr visitors speaking as a reader of blog than as a website owner.
I will give try in future. I like the word “even nerd can earn money”.
Thanks for sharing!!! Great alternative to Infolinks and Text-Link-Ads
It will be a good alternative as Infolinks seems to be following Kontera’s trend of paying less which was earlier not the case. Will give this a shot and see how it goes.
Do you make more money with InText as compared to Infolinks ? I am using Infolinks now but would switch if InText pays better.
Harsh, I still see Infolinks text ads in SML, no sign of intext anywhere.
This post was written on 16th and today’s 19th, So is it that you moved back in just a couple of days?
back to infolinks ?.
Iam not convinced to use intext as you are also still using infolinks on your blog.
Am still skeptical about integrating in-text ads to some of my blogs because of their “intrusive nature” check http://www.dailyblogtips.com/stay-away-from-in-text-advertising.
