Indian Government offer for Indian students : Laptop below 15$

The Indian government plans to launch low price laptop for students always made the buzz but this time news is quite serious and a matter of happiness for all the students. Seems like “one laptop per child” plan is going to be fulfill now.laptop for indian students 300x199

On February 3rd ,   a 10$ laptop (Prototype) would be in display in Tirupati (India) the Ram capacity of this prototype laptop will be 2GB.

Though laptop production will be around 20$ as of now but with the mass production we can expect it be somwhere around 10$-15$.

The laptop technology is designed by the combine effort of students of Vellore Institute of Technology,   IIT Madras,Scientists in Indian Institute of Science,with the collaboration of private PSUs.

Let’s hope for some more good news regarding this soon and hope for the fulfillment of our dream of ” OLPC (One laptop per child ) “.
