Your RSS feed placement is very important to give easy subscription option to your reader. Another good way is giving long list of feed subscription option to subscribe to your website/blog feeds.
This can be easily achieve by Chicklet feed subscription creator wordpress plugin.
The Chicklet creator plugin is very easy to use. Simply download and install the plugin and under configuration select the feed subscription options you want to give to your users.
By default it will select your wordpress feeds, if you use feedburner or any other service to burn your feed, enter the feed URL in the last option as I did in the above screenshot.
Now where ever you want to show the feeds, you can use this code to show the chicklet

I added it in the morning and I can see an increase of 20+ subscribers by now.
I don’t mind giving away one of my ad space and keeping this chicklet because feed subscribers matter a lot to any blogger.
ofcourse feed subscribers matter a lot… no 2 words about it
but is this effective enough to get more subscribers is what I am wondering, probably will ask you again in another fortnight or so
