If we take up freelancing for finances, isn’t that going to take away the time and effort put into the blog?
Blogging is about so many things, all you need to do is fix a certain about of time for this purpose. you should read the other post I have linked to.
Great info.
I am surprised you did not mention freelancer.com. I think that is the best site, as you can get paid a good amount there. When I started online, I used freelancer and did some jobs there. It was pretty good. But now I mostly use it to outsource work.
Nabeel
I agree with Nabeel! I’ve earned over $90 in less than a month on freelancer.com. My Adsense earnings from all sites (over 20) including revenue sharing ones is just $33 in 12 months!
If you are in for money only then there is no point in starting/running a blog. Why not indulge in ONLY freelancing? I don’t agree with the title of the post
Nevertheless thanks for sharing some nice sources to find free lancing work
Well Paritosh, This is for people who want to make blogging their career. Just Imagine, what if you don’t have the support of anybody in terms of finances, would you still no take up freelancing work to support your blog? in these three years I have seen many people who are still making less than $100/month, this is because they are worried about paying their bills etc.
Initially I have to do freelancing work until my blog was making money. I was able to quit my 8 hour hectic BPO job and concentrate on other things just by working 2 to 3 hours (that too were flexible) a day. I was able to devote time to my blogging, studies, friends and so many other things.
So you should take this advice in a positive way.
I have the same question as Shocky. Freelancing and blogging are different things, aren’t they?
They are indeed. Though blogging or your blog can be used as Portfolio. For example most of Wordpress SEO clients which I get is from my blog.
While online tutoring and freelance writing are my main sources of income as of now, Blogging is something I can do effortlessly and really enjoy doing. Since I get a few clicks now and then, I don’t mind having custom domains either. It’s best if you can support your domain and hosting costs by some alternate source of income in the initial stages of Blogging.
I am also earning from Content Creating on such forums. I love to post on the forums. Nice this that your have written your experience. Good luck for future, Asif
Freelance writing is definitely worth the effort to pick up and put it to work – even if you don’t think you can write all that well, just keep at it; you’ll find work due to the sheer amount of articles people need on the web.

Totally agree with asif earning from blogging is not an easy job while you are in the beginning so it is very good to do a online job as a free lancer to maintain your blog. Once your blog start gaining traffic leave the job ansd start monetising blog with adsense and BSA becuz both the program are giving awesome money.
