Nice article harsh, but I am facing a different problem. I had changed old URLs with new ones one week ago. But GWT still shows old URLs along with new URLs. Is there any way to remove these old URLs without deleting my old post having new URL. Please send your reply soon.

I did this two minutes ago, and I really, really hope the URL gets removed from the index as it contains a name that shouldn’t be appearing on my website.

Following your post on the Global translator issue, I deceided to move the said plugin from one of my sites. I followed your advice and went into Webmasters tools to remove the url’s. Although daunting at first, after a while you do get used to the process.
