When you think about starting a blog you think about cool designs and great ways to market the blog with social media, and for a few months or so you think about all of the great articles you can write. Then after a few months the pressure really sets in—this blog needs content everyday.

New content. Unique content.

And you have to write it. Until your blog gets popular enough to where you’re getting a good number of guest submissions, it’s up to the blog owner to create content that brings in traffic.

Unfortunately, coming up with engaging and unique content every single day for more than six months (or less) can be a challenge.

This is especially difficult if you have a very targeted blog like an SEO blog or an income tax blog. There will always be that day when an idea just doesn’t pop into your head.

You’ll start writing and then give up because the article is so terrible. It happens to everyone, but there are things you can do to get through the day and still produce a great article.

Writer’s block situation is nothing new and most of us (Writer, Blogger), get into this situation lots of time. Many time, we start writing articles but couldn’t finish it. Or, the worse of is when we don’t feel like writing or running out of ideas due to repeated content.

There are many ways to get out of Writer’s Block condition and I’m sharing some tips, which will help you to get Instant and easy ways to get ideas for your next blog post, which will be easier and engage your readers.

Top 5 Easy Ways to Come Up With Great Blog Posts

When writer’s block hits, it’s best to have a few post ideas lined up that can be created quickly and easily. For many, these ideas come in the same form that you have seen on other blogs, yet they are all unique and different. A few of these generic ideas include:

Anecdotes –

Every blogger can come up with some anecdote or personal story. This is a very easy way to get something great on the page because writing anecdotes are quick and don’t require any research.

Try your best, however, to make your story along the same lines of your blog. For example, if you have a blog about business, tell a story about a struggle you had when you started your own business.

For example, you can read Harsh Agrawal Bloggers journey, where he shared his life Blogging story.

Polls –

This is by far the faster way to get something engaging onto your blog because there isn’t usually much content.

Ask a question of your readers and ask them to vote. This can also tell you something about your readers, so if you ask the right questions you could potentially get a few ideas for future posts!

For example, you can go to few of the polls created by Lifehacker where they give options for voting and users also suggest some new tools via comment.

You can combine all this to create a unique and great blog post. Since you will be learning about new things, you will not only enjoy writing but by the end, such lists posts will be great to generate backlinks.

Contests –

Although this is a quick way to get a blog post onto your blog, you have to be ready to follow through and do whatever it is you say you’re going to do to decide a winner and reward a winner.

For example, you may want to write up a quick post that asks your readers to write down the funniest story about working in an office.

Also, if you are one of those bloggers who maintain good relation with people in your niche, then you can always go ahead and create a contest on your blog, offering a product for free.

For example, if you have ever received an Email from any product owner in your niche, you can drop them an Email and give them an idea about the contest which you are planning to organize.

It could be as simple as “Retweet and win” Or “Follow and win”.

Depending upon your reader base and popularity, you can always grab good free products for the giveaway. More over, creating such content doesn’t take time and you will also be able to get back user engagement in no time.

Reviews –

Writing a review is quick and easy (yet interesting) because it is all your opinion. You just write what you see and about your experience with whatever it is that you are reviewing.

Since, you will be writing about something that you are using (Could be your laptop, your gadget, any software, your custom table or could be car your drive), it will be easier to write and you can add a lot of personalization into your article. And best of review articles are one, which is written after personal experience.

Interviews –

Although this takes a bit more time to write-up, it doesn’t force you to come up with an idea and be creative.

Come up with some questions and reach out to someone in your industry. Once you have the information, you could even just type out his/her answers verbatim and turn it into a blog post. It doesn’t get much easier than that.

Though, everyone is using Interview technique and making it boring with the repetitive question. You can trigger your creativity cells, and come up with some out of box questions. It could be funny, humorous, serious or could be completely off-topic.

The only hard part is finding the expert to take your interview. Start with your fellow bloggers and give them a chance to get featured on your blog and in the process you will be creating free and quick content for your site.

It’s usually not the best idea to always write in these formats, but rather save them when you’re really at a loss for words and need a blog post in a hurry.

Although you will find these types of posts on other blogs, you will always be able to put your own spin on them and help keep people interested.

    Amenda,
No doubt that your tips are unique. But in most of the time people are not ready to write for your blog unless it is very popular. Also they will only pass their opinion if they think that you blog is popular enough and people will get exposure. However,i will follow your tips and try to apply it in my blog.
