How to know when any article is submitted from your website on digg and get notified?

diggDigg is   a major source of traffic and it’s important for any blog owner/admin to keep a track of stories when it is submitted to Digg.

few days back and today I again noticed that there are few article which is submitted on digg and I was not even aware of it.

Though it makes no difference but when it is submitted by any user on digg I find it interesting to know what someone find that article to be genuine enough for digg.

This trick will help you to prompt when any artcile is submitted from your blog/website on digg and you can also subscribe to feeds to be notified when any article is submitted from your blog.

Follow the following step to understand how to notified when any article is submitted from your blog.

# Go to Digg search page by clicking here

# On the search page enter your domain name “domain.com” and click on search. Don’t forget to check the buried stories so that you will have an idea which stories got buried and you can also sort the order of search result in any ways you want.

How to get notified when any article is submitted from your blog?

On the search page there is a RSS icon on the right hand side you can use that to subscribe to feed and get notified when any article is submitted from your website.

You can use notify.me service to get direct notification via Email or on your favorite Messenger : Notify.me .

I love how you can basicaly subscribe to anythin you want on digg. Whatever group, category or search results interest you, you can just add rss feed. More sites should use that feature.

Setai I guess wordpress has this feature, like I can also provide feed link for perticular category, but until unless my blog has 10k posts it will not be of much use. Thanks for your comment. :)

Thanks Harsh for this, I did it and I can see one of my posts you digged. This is nice as you don’t have to log in or do anything funny. Just subscribe to RSS feed and it’s done.

NO ashfame, I’m not..I manually review old posts and add more points and realize if they deserve to be on front page for some time, I change the date.

If you want to stay away from coding …then you may go for a wordpress digg button plugin. Just google this “digg wordpress plugin” and you will find one.
