How to get recover deleted data from computer

There are common problem in your life and one of the common problem is your data management. It is commonly seen that by the use of corrupt OS or due to viruses computer crash and all the important files from hard disk delete in one go. Or many geeks frequently use Shift+del to delete any data, but the worst scenario happen when they accidently delete any crucial data. And there is no way to get that deleted data back to your PC. But in reality it is not so, you can get your deleted data back in your hard drive with the help of a software known as Recuva.

According to Recuva Recuva (pronounced “recover”) is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses!

Recuva look up all the crucial area of your PC like hard drives, memory cards, and USB sticks to find files and folders you’ve deleted,also it tell you in advance how likely it is that your file(s) can be recovered. Also it recover files from your iPod, iPod Nano, or iPod Shuffle. But you need to wait for iPod touch and iPhone because Recuva not support these devices.

Recuva is not a magic as it cannot has ability to recover all files. . Sometimes Windows has overwritten the area where the file used to be,so Recuva cant find the file from that area.Also if the file is too corrupted to recover,then it is unable to recover.If you securely delete any file then also Recuva is not useful for you.

But overall look Recuva is quite promising, at least one should try this software for recover back an important file which might change your day.

5 Soumen July 29, 2009 at 21:51: Well it was great knowing about the trick actually I’m planning to write an entry on my blog on this topic. I ‘ve found great softwares while researching for it. ActiveAT is one that was the most helpful while recovering my old corrupted HDD & also have used the Tuneup earlier. It was also worth knowing about Recuva. I’ll use it and then ofcourse it will get included in my blog post too. Thanks for sharing Himanshu.
