in Windows

I have been using Windows Vista from long and you can see my love for vista from my previous posts

Hibernate is one of the great feature of Windows , which let us save our battery for the tough time.

Specially now when I’m writing this article I’m in a flight and I can understand the importance of saving battery now.

I’m trying to save each and every inch of my battery power so that I can work more.

Anyways sometime many people find it hard to enable and disable the Hibernate feature in Windows Vista because it is not same as in windows XP.

Enabling and disabling the Hibernate option is very easy in windows Vista too. You can do it easily by running a command.

Open Run

Type CMD without quotes.

And type

powercfg /hibernate on     : This will enable the hibernate option

Make sure you have enough of disk space for Hibernate to work.

How to Disable Hibernate option   in Vista?

Vista is good but 1Gb is quite low memory keeping windows Vista in your mind.
I will suggest you to upgrade your RAM for better and faster experience with windows Vista.
