Its been long I have written about Google wave and if you have missed my earlier post on Google wave do check out
I have posted my Google wave ID in public and got unlimited waves and my inbox is almost cluttered with many waves.
Obviously I’m sure if you started using Google wave you will be facing the similar issues. So here is a quick but effective tip which will help you to clear your Google wave inbox.
In this Google wave tip we will be taking help of Archive feature which will help you to clean your Inbox.
When you don’t want to show any particular Wave which is particularly dead, you can quickly select that wave and click on Archive button to remove that wave appearing from your wave inbox. If person update that wave later on you will see that wave again on inbox.
Here is a small screenshot which will explain every thing here.
Once you click on archive button it will disappear from your inbox, but you can click on All button in the left sidebar to see that wave.
So go back to your Google wave and clear your wave.

It’s weird, that’s such a simple tip but I’d not considered using it for that purpose.
Well, I guess that’s what the function was designed for, but I never thought to archive stuff because it didn’t occur to me that if the wave were to become active again, the thread would pop up again in the inbox section.
Also, by the way, a second way to achieve the same result is to use the “Move to” function from within the wave and select “All”.
Thanks Harsh
