How to Build Your Own Bots/Services in Minutes without Programming Knowledge

Many a times we want to build bot which performs action when some condition is satisfied , we want to also automate monotonous online tasks/works. In this post I am going to discus about a service  which  can literally build any bots from Rates Monitoring bots to Spammers. More importantly you need not have any programming knowledge it is fully Graphically with nice GUI.

How to build your own bots?

Example:How to retrieve first results from Google Search Result

1.Visit Openkapow and Register a account.

2.Download the software. -For Windows:Download Openkapow -For Linux:Download Openkapow

3.Install it.

4.Run the Exe. Initially window will look like this

You can build three types of bots namely -RSS/Atom feed -REST Web Service -Web Clip bot

5. In this Case Select REST option.

6. Enter the Target Website.Here it is www.google.com

7. Click Next.Now Enter the input parameters namely the search query.Give a name and click add.Click Query and click next .

8. Click Next and enter the search value here I am typing my site name Technobuz. Click next similarly assign a output parameter.

9. Click Finish.

10. Click the search box (it will be highlighted in Green) You can manually enter the input values or obtain it from input variable. Here i use the second way.

11. Now right click Google Search Button and select Click.

12. Here we are planning to extract Site Description hence click on it and select Extraction->Extract Text->REST Output.

This assigns the output to output variable.

13. Now we have to publish the Bot made .It will and can be published only in Official Site(openkapow).

To publish Click File->Publish

  14. Enter Proper Title ,Tags and description so that it will be easy to search and find your bots easily for future use. 15. It will show the location where your bot is hosted.Note it down

16.This test bot is hosted @
