These days I’m looking forward to grow my online earning in legalized way. I have been talking about my upcoming program Blogging : Step by step and while preparing the tutorials, I realize that I’m creating lots of videos for tutorial purpose.
My first thought was to upload those videos on youtube for one simple reason, large targeted audience. Though the sad part is making money with youtube. I could not find any ways to make money with youtube by simple uploading the videos.
Another good idea was, Start a video blog along with shoutmeloud and then push adsense for video unit. The sad part is adsense is no more keeping their video unit for adsense.
While search for another ways that I can make money online with videos I have created, I landed up at metacafe page and I realize, metacafe provide lots of options to make money with your video unit.
How can you make money with metacafe video?
If you are original publisher and create your own video, you can upload them to metacafe and once your video has been viewed more than 20k views, you will be receiving 5$ per thousand views onwards.
It’s actually a great idea, because you are exploring a part of market which has not been explored by you.
Though metacafe publisher account has lots of limitations like :
- 20K video views should be covered within 6 month. Good part is if you create a video and it become popular, generally such videos have viral effect.
- Many How to categories are not accepted you can see there enormous TOS on Metacafe TOS .page.
- The publisher must be 18+. So if you are under 18, wait for few years to be eligible to metacafe published program.

hey, i was totally unaware of it, its nice way to make money, but the sad part is that we can not upload how to video as i am planning to make that kind of videos,but we can upload any funny video also.
Actually I think this is valid for certain country based viewers/uploaders only, coz when I started uploading videos on metacafe (almost 1.5 yr ago, the system of making money from metacafe was still on) and luckily one of my uploaded video hit the frontpage generating thousands of views. But the revenue never showed up in my account..
Sigh, but I love metacafe though. Not every video uploads was accepted by the review team unless they were unique.
The earnings are not that great with metacafe in the beginning.
But, i think one can earn pretty handy amount once you upload good number of videos to metacafe!!
The only back drop for metacafe is that its video quality is not that great when compared to youtube!!

but it pays only 5 countries ..
