    By in Twitter

If you are keeping an eye on your Twitter Timeline, you will realize many users started talking about New Twitter design again. Few days back we informed you about Twitter rolling out new design and finally new design is live for many more today.

If you will login into your Twitter web account, you will see an option to try out new Twitter and just in case if you don’t like the new design, you can revert back to old twitter.

With the design they have also changed their Favicon and lot’s of changes and usability. Let’s see what’s new in Latest twitter.

What you going to see New Twitter Design

    Tabbed Navigation:

First thing which you will notice is tabbed navigation which will let you quickly switch between timeline, @reply, direct messages, lists and retweets. This feature is really handy and make new Twitter.com user friendly.

    Sidebar Pane:

Now you can check recent tweets from any one by clicking on expand button and see what that person tweeted recently.

    Media Preview:

One major feature is ability to see media inside new Twitter. Here is one image shared by me on Twitter and click on Image preview button, it will starts appearing at the sidebar. More over it will also show tweets from the profile who posted the pic and if you tagged someone in the pic, all recent replies to him will appear too.

    Follow/Unfollow from anywhere:

You can check any profile from any Twitter panel. You can follow, unfollow, see recent tweets from that page. It’s more like opening a new profile in a new tab. More over what I liked the most is by clicking on message; you can send a DM from the pop up.

I logged out and back into Twitter and there still isn’t an option to try the new interface yet, I am very curious to get my own hands on it and start testing it. Though I doubt I will use Tweetdeck or Hootsuite less for the new Twitter interface.

    Hey Justin
New Twitter might take some time to come to all Twitter profile..I’m enjoying the new feature but I agree with you on using it more than Tweetdeck. I prefer Tweetdeck more than any other application and I might not leave it for new twitter.

Thanks for your comment Phil and I believe Twitter is using it’s own URL shortener t.co.

I think it’s great to see a new twitter. I mean the same “theme” gets boring after a while. I think it’s the same with blogging however, there may be an issue with branding. Thanks for sharing the changes with twitter. :)

Mandeep I agree with you on branding and getting bored seeing the same thing.. The way Twitter customized the new theme, they use the same look and feel but with added functionalities..
