One of the my favorite features of mine on Google+ is Hangouts, which is group video chat at its best. Using the Hangout feature, you can group video chat with more than one friend at a time and have a good time, unlike Facebook’s Video chat. The only problem that seems to arise is, there aren’t many friends on Google+ that I know of who’ll be willing to Hangout!!
The whole point of a social network is to make new friends, and the Hangout feature is full of it. You can join anyone’s Hangout and start video chatting with people you do not even know and make new friends. However, I haven’t seen or joined any Hangout since the start of Google+. If you’re in the mood to make some new friends but don’t know where or how to start a Hangout, then all you have to do is visit Gphangouts.
How to join Google plus public hangouts using GpHangouts:
Using Gphangouts, you can join Google plus public hangouts happening or scheduled to happen in different parts of the world. You’ll have to add them to your friends Circle, and remember this website will only provide you the links to the profile of the one who’s starting the Hangout.
As a matter of fact, you can also create your own Hangout and hope that someone wants to befriend you. The basic requirements require a Google+ profile, a reason to Hangout and some free time. You can join already created hangouts or wait for new ones to happen at scheduled timings. The whole process of using Gphangouts is simple, a person starts a Hangout on a certain topic and you can just go and say Hi if you’re permitted. The topics vary from nothing to blogging/work related/business and other interesting ones.
There are some Hangouts that you can join which have been going on for over 30 hours, all you have to do is join and say hi and stay if you want or leave. I think it’s a pretty good way to kill time, meeting new people all around the world.
Do try this and be a MAN……..or Woman!!
