Yesterday Google released a new service call Google related Toolbar which can be added into your Chrome browser using Chrome extension. This addon (Toolbar) will find and show related information regarding web page you are viewing.
Google Related Toolbar is going to be very useful for e-Commerce or services based side as this toolbar gives many details when you are viewing any such site. For example, if you are viewing Amazon sit for any purchase, you will find a list of related products and videos demos. This will surely be helping you in your buying decision.

How to use Google Related Toolbar
Another usage example of this toolbar is, when you are viewing any topic about your favorite celebrity, this toolbar will show related information to the celebrity page you are viewing and specially you can play videos of the celebrity right from toolbar which is powered by YouTube videos.
In this example, I’m viewing wiki page of Justin Bieber and you can see this toolbar in action:
You also have an option to disable Google Related Toolbar for certain pages or for the entire site. You might not see this toolbar on every web page you view. This extension is currently available for Chrome and IE and you can download it from here. It’s available on Internet explorer via Google toolbar. For Mozilla users, there is no candy for this time.
Specially if you are into lots of reading and reading breaking news, this toolbar will be very useful to find other sources for the same topic and will help you to quickly cover the news from the top sources.
As a user this is just another Google service for me and most likely I’m going to skip having this extension in my list of Chrome extensions for now. Though for e-commerce or restaurant sites, this toolbar can be useful to find out what Google think of your page by looking at related information.
Have you tried Google related toolbar? How likely you going to use this service in day to day life? And what other benefits you see of using this toolbar?
