Yes you need a credit card to set up your adwords campaign but you will never be billed if you don’t exceed the amount of your coupon code

Did not get the email from Google containing the promotional key! It’s no use without it!
We get $100 credit only if they send us an e mail or else there is no credit and we need to pay.
I took advantage of a sweet $100 gift card from Google not too long ago. I prefer the business related one’s I get though, they work nicely for getting some Google tags on Google maps, etc…
I think without credit card its not possible.

You have to set up your google adwords account first that is why you need the credit card info, but after that you can use the coupon code to pay for your ad campaigns
