Freshlife is a very effective premium theme. It has many features inbuilt that are very ready to built a instant blog. I was searching for a theme that can fit to my online tech blog. The requirement was simply for a theme that has a adsense ready panel and some other features like Ajax sidebar widget and social media integration. First theme like swift caught up my attention and I tried to work out with them. But I discovered there are many issues with swift as it is a free theme and has a very linear approach of just making the theme fast loading. This liniar approach has made the theme very compressed and minimalistic. I tried to search some other themes and found some themes that were very ready ready for the application. But I choose freshlife theme for following great features.

Below is a picture of how theme Freshlife looks on my blog. I do not have to do anything with the page navigation and other small things. Just installed the theme and done some minor changes that can be done without much programming. There are some inbuilt widgets. Freshlife has proved to be a fast loading and feature rich theme.
Freshlife is from a group Theme junkie and costs $29.95, but there is a catch if you have enough dollars you can go for a whole 13 theme package for $99.95. I will elaborate some features of Theme Freshlife.
- You can put a customized logo on the website. Just put the image in the wp-content folder and select the path in the URL of custom logo.
2. There is a Social Widget to show on the sidebar of the website. You can easily anchor your Digg Id, Twitter handle, Facebook profile, Youtube channel and Rss though email.
3.You can also give your homepage a magazine like look. This is very great feature and extracts images from the posts to show in the excerpts. This gives a very professional look to the blog.
4. The best part is that this Theme is adsense ready and you can configure different type of ad easily. Just put the ad code in the right place. You can get a 468*60 Ad on the header and a 350 *250 ad on the sidebar.
5. You can easily integrate Analytics setting easily, you just need to put the code in the space shown below.
6. This theme also features an Ajax based sidebar widget. There are small customizable settings.
Freshlife proves to be a great theme for beginner and a very price conscious. You get a premium theme at a very affordable price.

Looking very good theme. Good for Adsense users. The built in panels are very useful for newbies to insert ads.
Using this theme for my site (www.TheTechMedia) from last month…
Pros:
- Nice, Simple and gives professional look
- Though priced at $30, one can get it at $15 with coupon code (search it..)
- Dont knw much about SEO optimised themes but my posts are appearing in Google search instantly.
Cons:
- Lot many bugs which are yet to be fixed (eg. every widget, sidebar or footer, have to have some heading else theme will break.. )
- many more … but not major one…
Good for starters and def. value for money ($15 what more one can expect!). If anyone serious, just check their support forum and than buy.
Forgot to mention one more + point:
One can use it on number of sites .. no restrictions..

If I am trying to save on costs, I will use a free theme from WordPress themes repository instead. There are plenty of high-quality themes over there, some of them even better than many paid themes. If you want, you can search for Jenny theme. It is clean and simple with all the features that you find in a paid theme.

Theme looks good decent design with a lot of features.
I am using this theme on my blog http://www.snakebytez.com since quite a long time. The theme is light if you remove the background image. comes with lot of options, you can pit the ads and trtacking code directly in the theme options.
Thesis is the best, can be customized in many styles and can also be a problem if you are not very good at theme editing.
@TheTechMedia my menu options are blue and bit different (like mashable). I preferred to use a different version of this theme which has some bugfixes.And yes, make use of the Widgets at footer option like mine. also use Pagenavi plugin

first goto apperance —> freshlife theme options —>enable Featured post
then add the tag featured in the posts which you want to add to featured posts .
