    By in WordPress

BlogSpot and WordPress.com are two popular Free Blogging platform and seems like a silent cold war is going between these two. Specially when BlogSpot team are introducing new features now and then. Like last time BlogSpot introduced Spam comment filtering , real time stats and Social media sharing buttons.  Where as WordPress team introduced like button and now Tweet button.

In order to add a Tweet button into your Free WordPress blog all you need to do is login to your WordPress.com blog dashboard and under appearance select Extra and put a check mark on Show a Twitter “Tweet Button” on my posts.

tweet-wordpress Click on update extras and now you will have one click Tweet button at the bottom of your post.

    tweet-share

This is a very useful addition for WordPress.com blog users. WordPress.com team can also consider adding more Social media sharing icons.

Thanks for the info. But can we use some other functionalities of official twitter retweet buttons which is to add own sentences in the tweets or to suggest a profile to follow?

Thank you – any ideas why this feature won’t show up on some blogs?
All I have beneath extras are the first three:(

Ok, found the answer myself! For some reasons, I have a “Sharing” tab beneath “Preferences” and that’s where it hides:)
