HJi, can you please give us a little clearer step by step procedure for entering and activating the settings in simple Nokia phone?

baceuse we are not very suure where to enter these setting, and in phone setting we have some other things also, and we dont know what to put there…

On my Nokia 6230i phone I have:
    Settings – Default configuration settings
    – Activate default in all applications
    – Preffered Acces Point
    -Personal configurations settings

In personal configurations settings I have Account Name, , Homepage, user name, Password, Use preferred acces point, Acces point settings

    etc etc

I mean, what to put where??
Is profile name you are mentioning Username or what, is APN acces point?
That with the bearer settings in the phone? many questions, we are not all experts. So, correct and detail step by step procedure for entering settings in Nokia phones (most people use them) would be very useful…

And how to activate new connection (in which setting?)

And BTW, whats the code for MMES activation, Im not sure if I’ve activated it

    @Manoj Varghese Mathew

can you maybe tell us how did ypu manage to do it.
    On which phone?

    Goran

Do we need to change Data bearer settings? (GPRS or GSM data setting)
What is GPRS acces point? airtelfun.com.com? (2 .com -s)
    Pasword we leave blank?
    Username AirtelFree?

Use prefferend accces point, yes or no?

    Goran

Ive managed to connect with these settings (I think), but it is still going down from my balance…
So, personal configuration is set as default for all applications, Use preffered acces point is set to know and all settings are entered correctly (I think) as in first post.
But what is confusing a little is Modem settings in Connectivity, under GPRS, menu. Here I have also something with acces points, and I dont know what to do with that…

So, if we dont get some clarification, it is useless…

    Harsh Agrawal

Goran these settings are old.. i will publish the latest working trick soon.
