We all love our music and with it comes our Ipods and other PMP’s but among all media Apple Ipod range stands head and shoulder above among others players but none is perfect so is this poor software support(Itunes) lags this killer app behind.
But a Freewares called Floola (portable) improves Ipod productivity amazingly it will improve your Ipod experience .
This app works on various platform and boasts the same interface on each one them you can sync between your Ipod and and your system at relatively higher speed and and more comfortablely with this software you can sync videos from youtube which Itunes can’t and also this supports tons of languages so you get confused. Adding music is as simple with its Drag n Drop support.

Also files format that are not compatible with your Ipod can changed into supported format under same hood and don’t feel confused when some one ask for list of songs you have with this softwares you can export list of your Ipod files in HTML format and share along.

This software also comes to rescue when you need some Ipod maintainance it helps to find duplicate files in your ipod and cleans the mess that other program.
Other notable supports are Google calender, ability to takes notes and Podcasts and Last.fm support which is quite basic.
Anyone tired of using ITunes and its limitations will enjoy Floola. It is completely free from cost and has a full array of useful features. Being able to use it from multiple operating system platforms is a major bonus. It has a simple enough interface that will take you only a few seconds to understand.

Nice article alok but i completely disagree with you. I have been using ipod since i was a child and i gotta say nothing matches itunes. If you analyse apples performance over the past 2 years or so, you will see that they have been constantly releasing itunes updates and with each update the performance has improved specially for windows ( its already a killer app for mac users ). And regarding the features mentioned above like drag n drop, locating duplicate content, song list importer, etc all of them are there in the latest version. Personally i dont feel like using my ipod with apps like these which come and go with the wind.
@paritosh
its nice to see you are a iTunes Fanatic but still Intunes is not that great or killer its heavy on Ram and other system resources and most imp all if you do not have Pc @ home (like me) and usually access internet form cybercafe then avialbility of intunes is questionable but you can carry Floola around as its Portable

@alok See you are favoring floola because you have no alternative, you have no choice. For you its a blessing in disguise. I know its a bit heavy on resources, but runs well on a subtle memory of 512 mb also !
My comment is directed towards those who have a choice !
@Yogendranath I agree with you on the point that itunes is matchless.
But those who wanna try in ahead, dont drop your idea reading comments posted here.
@Yogindernath I dont know whether you noticed it or not but in my previous comment i got your name wrong, i apologise for that.
, i was going to write the same thing in previous comment but didnt thinking it might offend the author !
And dude you stole my word
I got my first apple-product (iPod Shuffle) last week on my birthday and I’m highly positive about it. Getting an iPod resulted in me downloading iTunes which to me seems to be a terrific software since I’ve been using Winamp forever.
Unfortunately I didn’t really catch the advantages of Floola in your guestpost. Why should I use it instead of apples own software iTunes?
