Feeds are the best way to keep an eye on updates. If you don’t know about feeds read my post on what is feed.
From a blogger point of view it is very important to have more number of subscriber so that user will get to know when you update your blog.
The wordpress plugin : Subscribe remind is the perfect plugin to notify the readers after every post to subscribe to feeds.
Subscribe remind is plug and play plugin. Download the plugin from the author page and upload/install the plugin. Once activated it will automatically pull up the default RSS feeds. in case if you want to use different feeds, specially in the case of feedburner or Googlefeed. You can make following changes.
Go to plugin editor and select subscribe-remind/subscribe-remind.php
FInd the follwing code <a href=”‘ . get_bloginfo(‘rss2_url’) . ‘”>
and replace it with <a href=”http://feedproxy.google.com/Shoutmeloud“>
Change the URL of your feeds according to your need.
Download Subscribe reminder plugin for wordpress
Don’t forget to subscribe to Shoutmeloud feeds.

i know this is an old post, but i kept wondering on how many blogs do this.. and Ricky from techgenuine.com suggested that i check out this plugin…

Installed the plugin after reading your post however, am having some problem.
It is even showing up on my home page ( where there are currently summaries of posts only ! )

That may be because of your theme, try to change your theme temporary and see if still you are facing the same problem…
Moreover the theme which you are using is I think from web2feel and it has lots of Footer credit and it takes time to load.. I will recommend move to some other theme.,…
