Facebook Users : Trendy Username Instead of Ugly Numbers

Till now facebook profile Naming convention is numeric based . Like My facebook profile link till now is

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=695090620&ref=profile

Starting from Saturday June 13th, Facebook is going to give an identity to the users by eradicating the Numeric part and instead will give freedom to the user to select their own username for profile.

So now you can have a username like

http://www.facebook.com/denharsh

You can pick up the username, by visiting this link

http://www.facebook.com/username/

facebook_username

Make sure you decide your name first, before picking it up, because Once it is selected, you won’t be able to revert back. Try to be the first one to pick the username, so that you will get your desired username.

This is good news from Facebook, although I didn’t know up to now how my username looks with the numeric based. Have to check on this.

still 8 hrs are left and it is showing numeric ID,so will get a name once this kool feature starts on facebook.

I got my name as the username.

You don’t need 1,000 Fans to get your own username.

Your Facebook account must be registered before June 9 as the only criteria.
