in Facebook

Seems like another Facebook spam is on the rise as you will see lots of people sending you videos saying

“Name, this is without doubt the sexiest video ever! :P :P :P

When you will click on this video you will be redirected to one facebook application.

Facebook-spam

So if you are getting such kind of video with wordings like Sexiest video ever,  avoid clicking on such videos. When you will click on this video (which actually is an application), it will redirect you to nadq_sdas application.

Yes, Poor things bloggers get into this spam. Recently tricksdaddy was affected by this and For a safer side before clicking anything, just move your mouse hover it, it will show you the link, check whether its a real video link or something else .. and then click on it.

These days, spam is everywhere, when you click on a link or attachment, either you get redirected to some dubious app store, porn, viagra, trojan, scam or phishing site.

Indeed, if you happen to get this and are feeling unsafe please do the following:

Enter application settings and look for Winamp or K-media. Firstly edit settings and go to additional permissions and uncheck the box. Afterwards, delete the application. You may want to go thorough your friends list and delete it, or tell them to get rid of it from thier wall.

I myself went thorough my friends list one by one and got rid of it to make sure no one else clicked it.

Akshay: If you have already clicked on it, then at least 30 or 40 of your friends have got a copy of it on their wall. go their walls and delete it, and post a comment on your wall so that no one else is tempted. I spent over an hour doing that today after I foolishly clicked the link… big mistake.

Does anyone know if facebook can remove the ‘winamp’ app from everyone automatically?

I got 4 posts to my wall, but I removed them each time… I clicked on one to see what it does, but did not allow it access to my account, given the sort of info it was asking for. It still installed itself, but I subsequently removed it and other apps I don’t really use… I need to give my FB a proper clean!

I get this a lot and considering the amount of followers on FB I have, it is an insane problem. I pretty much put my wall posts from others as a secondary tab, rather than be seen up front. I want people to see my content first on my home profile – my fan page… different.

Some of these people have no idea they are really spamming… much like those Twitter phishing DMs that come through on occasion.
