in Wordpress plugin

Few days back I have covered a post on Tweetmeme button to get more facebook share button thumbRetweets. Providing an easy interface to share your blog post always help to drive more traffic. More interesting is to see stats of share.

Facebook Share button is one such plugin for wordpress to see share count of your blog post on facebook. This also help users to easily share your blog post   on facebook.

Many popular blog like mashable are using this plugin and obviously they are getting lots of traffic and share using this facebook share count button.

Chances are high initially you might not get many share count on your blog posts, but once users will get used to it and you can see increasing number of shares on your blog post.

if you are not using any social media sharing buttons on your blog, you should do it now. This will help your reader to quickly stumble, tweet, digg and save your post on delicious. This will help them to quickly bookmark your posts for later use.

I’ve been seeing those in lots of blogs lately. Not sure whether I want to put it into my blog because most of my Facebook friends are real life friends and they don’t blog :D (don’t think they’ll ever gonna share my posts *skeptical*)

I have not seen many blogs with that on, but will keep my eye open for it. I think for users who want it, it will be useful for others. Maybe not many will use it, but it is available for them now.

I downloaded Facebook Share button and Tweetmeme and I ´m trying to get it to look like Mashable, but i can ´t. The two buttons don ´t get under each other as they do at Mashable. Instead they get beside one and other. Anyone knows what to do?

On Mashable’s site, in their post pages (not the home page), there’s a floating widget to the left of the content that descends as you scroll down below the fold, but doesn’t ascend above a certain point.

I’d love to replicate this, but their site is so clogged with code that I’m having a really hard time parsing apart the (javascript) scripting that’s controlling this.

Thoughts or any help identifying the moving parts?
