Facebook Pages Added Wall Spam Filter

    By in Facebook

Facebook pages are one of the best way to promote a brand and to engage with your fans. Today Facebook Pages added a new feature call spam filter which will move any suspected posts to spam tab and remove it from public view. Page admin can review the post and mark it as not spam or delete it permanently.

As added by official announcement from Facebook team:

All Pages will now have low quality content filtered to the Spam folder within their Page wall filter. This folder will only be viewable by Page admins. Click on the Spam button in your Page’s Wall filters to view posts have already been removed for you. In addition, user posts that are manually marked as spam by Page admins will also show up in Spam filter view.

Just in case if you don’t see this feature in next couple of days, I suggest you to check your wall view settings by clicking on edit page> Manage permission.

This feature is going to be very useful for page admin to handle spammers and people who shamelessly advertise on your pages.

This feature was really required, as people continuously spam high authority pages with useless ads. Thanks for the info. :-)
