Yesterday when I informed you about new Facebook fan page creator layout I forget to mention about one new feature added by Facebook team. Now you can Delete Facebook Fan Page, one feature which was missing from long. In recent time Facebook already introduced many new features for Facebook fan pages like Wall spam filter, change misspelled Facebook fan page name and better Facebook page insight.

Most of the time you would like to delete a Facebook fan page because you might have selected the wrong category or wrong name, while creating Facebook fan page.

In order to delete your created Facebook Fan page, go to edit page section of your Facebook Fan page and under permission, you will see an option to permanently delete this fan page.

Most of the time you would be using this feature only when you have done a mistake by creating a wrong Fan page or when you shut down any of your brand. But this feature also brought a security issue for Facebook pages with multiple admins. Any admin can delete Facebook page and there is no way to recover deleted Facebook page. Probably Facebook should introduce something like role manager, which will help us to create an admin with limited rights.
