Though I realize after looking at my Email subscription list, it’s important to give a prominent Email subscription form for users. Though we have some useful software like Feed-Demon to subscribe to RSS feeds, which is more useful but most of the readers still prefer traditional method of subscribing to updates by Email.

Not many people know what RSS is, so most of them will go for an email subscription
I’ve found email lists to be helpful on some sites while on others, not as much. Often, the blogs that are geared for the less tech-savvy people, I’ll promote the email feeds more, whereas with blogs that are targetted towards savvy people, I don’t go with emails as much. I really need to do for the latter audience too though!
