I have already talked about why I love Dreamhost for wordpress hosting. One of the simple reason to love dreamhost hosting is its automatic wordpress installation feature.
When you move from blogspot to wordpress, understanding wordpress becaome little geeky for you, though it’s not. Wordpress has live up too its expectation and its promising for more features in future release.
Why you should use dreamhost for Wordpress hosting?
Dreamhost provide you with the automatic installation of wordpress on your domain. You just have to click on Install wordpress and you will receive emails telling you about the login and password of your wordpress login.

One click install of wordpress is available in all hosting providers, not only dreamhost, you get the mail regarding the installation.
As Nirmal pointed out, the one click install feature is not provided by DreamHost but by Fantastico which comes packaged with most Cpanel licenses today.
Moreover, Fantastico provides one click installation of a dozen more applications in the similar fashion.
So the credit should go to the team behind Fantastico/Cpanel and not Dreamhost!

Yups credit goes to Fantastico/Cpanel theme, but the good point is Dreamhost is using it.
This is great help for people who are on blogspot and looking forward to move to Word press. Atleast they don’t have to deal with the customization part.
Every hosting service uses Fantastico, even the cheapest of hosting has this feature, its not only dreamhost. You get the same experience of dreamhost when moving from Blogspot to wordpress even with Bluehost, Host Gator, Media temple or any hosting.
yes, Nirmal and Praval got a point. I agree with them harsh, even the free hosting services are providing Fantastico installation thing, so this should not be selection criteria for any any host..
It can be , as lots of local hosting company doesn’t provide Fantastico Installation feature.
I don’t agree with the statement that all of the webhosts provide automatic install of WordPress.
And DreamHost is not using Cpanel they have their own unique custom built control panel which is more intuitive and easy to use than the Fantastico WP install.
