WordPress 3.2 is around the corner and we all know that WordPress hosting requirement has changed with this new version of WordPress. Today WordPress announced in a blog post that WordPress 3.2 is going to release soon and before you upgrade your blog to latest 3.2, you should check if your Webhosting has latest PHP and mySQL installed.
WordPress 3.2 required your hosting to be running PHP 5.2.4 and MySQL 5.0. I checked my hosting and right now I’m running
“our server is running PHP version 5.3.3-1ubuntu9.5 and MySQL version 5.1.49 which will be great for WordPress 3.2 onward.”
How to Check your Webhosting PHP and MySQL version?
To check your webhosting PHP and MySQL version, install this useful plugin call Health check and it will tell you if your Hostging is using WordPress 3.2 compatible PHP and MySQL version.
In case if your webhosting is not running WordPress 3.2 compatible PHP and MySQL, you can ask them to update it. Else, it’s time to move to some of WordPress friendly hosting like Hostgator, Dreamhost, Bluehost.
As it is I’m excited about WordPress 3.2 because it’s going to have some great features like distraction free writing, Twenty eleven WordPress theme, ditches outdated browser and faster than before.
I would strongly recommend you not to click on Automatic upgrade when WordPress 3.2 will be release. Make sure your hosting is compatible with WordPress 3.2 version and then only use one click upgrade.

Knownhost has the latest version installed! Waiting for Wordpress 3.2…!!!
Thanks for this awesome news Harsh i just checked that is our hosting server is running the latest version so when i checked it showed “server is running PHP version 5.2.14 and MySQL version 5.0.92″. thanks for sharing the health check plugin.

Already upgraded to Wp 3.2 now and it is awesome, I love the new changes made in it!
I checked with hostgator and they have the latest versions! So no problem for me
