Check how fast your blog is with pingdom and iwebtool

    By in Interesting link

Few days back I was using monezine wordpress theme, I loved monezine theme because of its smart ad placement and magazine style theme , but there was one thing which I never like about monezine was its load time. This was a big reason that I bought thesis. website_load time

When I tested my blog load time with monezine wordpress theme, it was almost 30s , which is way behind the standard load time of any blog.

This is one of the reason I have bought thesis wordpress theme.

Ping dom and iwebtool are two useful web resources to check your blog/website load time.   Right now with Thesis wordpress theme , when I check my blog load time it comes out to be 10s, and most of the load time is because of infolinks.

Among Pingdom and iwebtool , Pingdom is my favorite for simple reason , I can see which script is taking the maximum time to load.

7 sec is good but the variation of 4 sec in the result is bad. Doesn’t seems to be accurate.

Hey my site HealthHunch.com takes 16.3 seconds to load. I think I am slow but can not complain now much. I am planning to move it to a faster server in near future.

If it’s because of your server then its k else do cross check if it’s because of your template by any chance.
In case if you need hosting suggestion I will recommend Dreamhost.

In the morning my blog load time was ~6-7 sec and now it has gone up to ~19sec. What is wrong, the answer is still a mystery.
