Most of the websites offer many ways to subscribe and stay update with the latest updates. Some of the common way is by Email subscription, Feed subscription, Twitter and Facebook fan page. I have seen the following error lately when I tried setting up my Windows live writer for the shoutmeloud at different location. http://<hostname>/<wp_path>/xmlrpc.php Error occurs because of two issues: Xmlrpc not enabled Proxy error In my case it was because of proxy error.
