I used this software and it is really good for making videos especially for youtube and some other sites because it compress video without disturbing the quality of the video.

Technologial I have not tried this one for Games, but while looking at forum I realize you can use it. Else you can try Fraps, I used to use Fraps for recording when I use to play counter strike.

Thanks for the response, Harsh. I’ve been into this forum: http://forums.techsmith.com/showthread.php?t=12447 and seems like it’s the latest thread… I am not sure if it’s a DirectX compatibility issue, but seems like this software don’t work better than Fraps… Anyway, I’ll try downloading the free trial…

I am a big Camtasia fan. Great program and very easy to use. What I have been doing lately is making movies on my camcorder and then creating and editing the movie in Sony Vegas and rendering it. Then I open Camtasia and import the movie into my time-line. Then I can add screenshots, title clips, etc… and then render the entire project for YouTube or Vimeo. I am sure there is probably an easier way to do it… but it works great for me.

I’ve been using Camtasia for over a decade and this product just delivers. It’s relatively easy to use and when it came to training clips, it was the perfect solution.
