Recently Blogger introduced the Draft Blogger template maker option, I just checked it out and its very good! Without much knowledge in HTML or CSS it is possible to create some unique themes suited to the bloggers needs.
You have to go to draft.blogger.com page to start using this template maker. In the Layouts section you will see the option for Template Designer.
Starting themes
It gives the option to select from 4 basic themes, within these 4 themes there are still more options in different colors and designs.
We can use some other custom theme or the default Blogger themes but they don’t have so many customizing options as these 4 have.
Background Image
Can be changed, with a large number of images.
There are so many varieties that I almost did not miss the lack of ‘upload your own image’ option.
Layout
The entire layout of the blog can be chosen,
Footer layout can be modified and the width of the page, sidebar can be easily adjusted with scroll bars.
Advanced
The advanced settings lets us choose the font colors for title, headers and texts. It also lets us choose the tab color, background color and various other parameters.
There is also a CSS option here.
All in all its pretty awesome! Along with the Pages option that was introduced some time back, it is now possible to create some very funky templates, easily.

Good feature for Bloggers on blogspot as they had limited options to customize their blog. Thanks for sharing Priyanka
It is one of the most wanted feature that blogspot.com fans waiting for. Kudos to Priyanka for bringing it to the attention of shoutmeloud.com readers. Before editing your template, you must download full template of your blog. You may lose some of the javascript/html codes like Google analytics.
Though I am using blogger I was not aware of this new feature. It looks good. Blogger is catching up with other platforms.

Its an awesome feature and has been released at a great time for me as I was looking for a way to make a small company website with theme customization, which is now very much possible using Blogger I find.
That’s a cool option.
The reason I like blogger is even a person totally ignorant in coding and other tech things he can have a great blog.
it is new feature from blogger. So, anybody who want to make own design, but doesn’t know about HTML and CSS….can make it now.

One of the best feature that I love about blogger is how easy it is easy for newbies for to use it. And with new template designer, even newbies can customize their blog template to great extent with ease and without any programming knowledge
This is really very exciting new features by blogger. I listen about this new features yesterday.
I would be thrilled if not for the loss of google analytics, which is a complete disaster. For those of us who are serious about blogging the loss of google analytics by a company owned by google is unthinkable. I am at a lose for what to do now…

It is so awesome. Creating professional looking themes with blogger is so easy now. After the release of page creation and this new theme templates, I personally prefer Blogger to WP now.
