As the title says it is a guide composed by a beginner for those who are new to the blogging arena.
In this post I wont be emphasizing on which blogging platform to use, this you can easily find out by referring to the following articles:

As already stated above I am fairly new to the field of blogging and within a short span of time have learned ways to make money through blogging.
I started blogging with the prime motive of making easy money although I didn’t want to disclose this fact but it is very important to know that coming with such a mindset wont help you and chances are you will get disappointed. It should be noted that whatever your motive is 3 things should be clear :
1. Content is the king
Whatever you write should be quality content. Randomly copying from article directories wont help you. Be original and be creative.
2. Patience is the key
Don’t expect that you would start getting traffic within few days or weeks of blogging, it wont happen overnight. It takes time to build traffic.
3. Consistent posting
During the initial days, it necessary to consistently post. This keeps this the returning users interested and develops blog content.
Once you have generated enough quality traffic, monetizing your blog them becomes easier. There are various infact innumerable number of publisher programs available to earn money however there are only a handful which are worth trying. I wont be giving details for all of them but only of those which I have tried :
1. Google Adsense – I guess you have already heard of adsense. It is one of the best contextual advertising programs online. Apply here and once approved you wont look for any other.
2. Adbrite – Another well established advertising program however it didn’t provide content related ads.
3. Bidvertisers – I have tried this one but for a very short period of time and one thing that I didnt like about them was the site UI, it was a big turn off for me.
4. Inoflinks : Text link advertisement program. Which is one of the best in the market though relevency of advertisement is a down side of it.
The idea here is you should never wait for the right time to blog, start it anytime and you can monetize it later.

I do agree the fact that any new blog can’t get traffic overnight ,you should post more useful articles regularly and after getting reasonable traffic to your blog you shoud concentrate on earning money through adsense and other programs by placing ads on your blog.

@Rahul Yes Its is, but many a times bloggers despite of knowing this fact easily get frustrated.
@Harshad Adbrite is a good publisher program and has good CPC although the ad relevancy is poor.
On my idea AdBrite always show your AdHere until Some one purchases that adspaces so it will not be good for new bloggers….
Adsense is best for newbie mate….
