Gain Trust on twitter

Using twitter like sending tweets, follow people is the easiest work can be done on twitter and but by doing only these things we can not built attention and trust. The way you tweet, whom you follow and who are following you shows how much interesting your twitter profile is. If you think you can use twitter for your promotional offers, the first thing you have to think is how to gain attention on twitter while creating your account. No one will notice you if you are tweeting only for your website or product. Trust comes later when you have some good friends on twitter. Building attention and trust is not a big deal if you treat your followers like your future friend and not as a target for your promotional offers. To gain attention and trust, one should follow these simple steps:-

Create Unique Profile

First you have to create a great profile by writing a little bit about yourself and your work. Do not write words like “I can give you 1000 followers per day”, “I am an expert or guru”, “No one can beat me”. Be unique, smart, simple in your own way. After that, you all know that twitter gives you the ability to change the background. You can make it by photoshop as you like and load into your twitter profile. Interesting Tweets

Second thing you have to do is find some interesting topic, current events and send tweet about it. Your first tweet can be about your services or your personal activities. Follow some people who are in your niche and send some tweets about current affairs to start discussion. If two persons are talking about a topic that you know, you can tweet them if you know more about that topic. This way you can start conversation if you are smart and also they will look at your profile to know what you do. Always keep in mind you have to help others, have to gain trust of all and always be interesting. Remember You can ask question, answer question, share tips about your business or blogs.

Be a Good listener

Third thing is show other people that you are not only sharing yours blog post, you are also listening. Twitter gives you the ability to retweet others post by a single button. “Retweet” shows your willingness to share what other people are sharing. Yes, retweet a post can gain small amount of trust and attention. So always retweet the post which you think a good source of knowledge for the community. After some time people will return the favor for you too.

Inter connect your Social profile

Fourth thing is to grow your network in all networking sites. When you will meet some good friends on twitter you should try to connect them on other social networking sites like facebook, orkut, hi5 etc. You can join them at Gtalk so that you can improve your friendship by talking directly. Your behaviour should show that your first priority is friendship with other members.

“Fourth thing is to grow your network in all networking sites.”- This is not easy, though. Given a reasonable amount of time, I think joining “ALL” networking sites would be impractical. Instead, selecting the top networking sites that most of your twitter followers are also using is a better idea… just my penny…
PS: This is a great article Avi…
