    5 Freelancing Guide For Novice Blogger

    Daily I get lots of emails and comments from bloggers who ask questions about freelancing work. They generally ask how to enter in freelancing work. In my previous posts I told you about I my blogging income from freelancing work. I provide various freelancing services through my blog and till now it is going with a right pace.

    But my journey was never easy. I faced lots of difficulties in begining. Making money online was not so easy task. One need to be consistent in his field. You can make money through writing on different blogs or through various web designing or WordPress customization services.

    Here I am sharing some useful freelancing tips with I learned from my experience:

    1. Don’t run behind money
    This is main mantra of my success. I never run behind money. Though money is important for paying bills and supporting our family but there are other things which are important too. I always give preference to my works and work continuously. Believe me if you will be honest towards your work, money will runs behind you.
    2. Always listen to your heart
    I remember the time when I got a joining from Accenture. I was in dilemma, weather to join or not. If I joined at that time, most of my hard work would get spoiled because I would get very less time to update my blog. I listened to my heart and got stick  with my work. If you want to enter in freelancing field then you have to be determinant towards your work.
    3. Make a blog
    Make a blog. Write regularly. Show your abilities to the world. If you want to write for someone, first write for yourself. If you are a designer then design your own blog first. If you are SEO specialist, give some SEO tips through your blog. Explore yourself. There is no shortcut to enter in this field and get immediate success.

    4. Learn new things
    If you are going to tell people about something then you need to learn that thing first. I provide services like blogspot to wordpress migration and other wordpress related services. I learned these things by actually trying it regularly. I learned from my mistakes.
    5. Stick to work routine
    I think work routine is very important for any freelancer. You should do your work in proper manner. Planning is necessary. Make a plan of your work and perform your work in disciplined way. You can use mind maping tools to plan your work.
    6. Grow your business
    If you are doing well in freelancing, try to grow your work by hiring some talented people. Learn different managing skills and try to focus on your most important task. Invest something in your work. It will give you good return in future. If you not capable of hiring, you can always work in a team. Try to interact with people who share same interest with you and ask them to work as partner.

    These are some handy tips for those who wants to enter in freelancing field. According to me freelancing requires lot of determination. It’s also checks your pressure handling capabilities. The more your work will expand, more pressure you will face. But never underestimate yourself. Try to explore your capabilities and always have trust in yourself.

    I am a Web Developer. Doing a full time job. I started freelancing few months back only. All went well from the beginning & now as well going good. But because of more work, managing freelancing work after a full day job is becoming tough now. I need a good way to manage everything well. Anybody have suggestions ?

    managing your full time job and free lancing work is a tough task. If you doing good with freelancing and feels you can make more with Freelancing stuff.. You can always kick your job and become a full time freelancer.
    Decide what is good for you.. Else take 2-3 hours time everyday for your freelancing work. Grab work which doesn’t have tight deadline..and this way you can accomplish all the project you start…

    “Always listen to your heart” & you proved it right. The decision must have been difficult. Moreover to convince your family & friends for not joing Accenture would’ve been quite challenging.

    I was supposed to join their as a Software engineer.. Though field was not decided. When they hired me, it was because of my Networking skills (Linux and servers).
