I have checked a domain hosting here (dethanhcong dot com, maintain by Trung) and I found an horrible fact that there are 338,028 other sites hosted on one server and probably counting
. However, free is always worth to testing.
Yeah – the downside is – you forget to cancel your account in 36 month and than you are charged 6.99 USD / Month in advance for the next 3 years.
So – if you forget it you pay a total of 3,49 USD / Month for 72 month – and thats only quite an average webhosting offer…

Not sure if we can trust this web host. Hostgator even with 24*7 tech support can fail at times. With 1 $ host you are most probably stepping to hell
Hostable is not a new company. They are in business since around 6 – 7 years.
There is few downsides that I noticed straight away:
- Overselling
* The reason why the are offering hosting service for only $0.99 for 3 years is because they have a better chance of making more money that way instead of selling at a regular price. For instance, they can get 10,000 customers for $0.99 instead of only 100 customers for $3.50 Overselling is basically placing a very large amounts of customers on servers which causes low site performance, server overload, and possible downtime.
- Unlimited disks space & bandwidth
* Its impossible for a hosting provider to offer unlimited disk space or bandwidth. There always is a limit that companies hide from you to get you attracted to their service, so you think you get unlimited disk space and bandwidth but the truth is that if you start using a lot of disk space or bandwidth, your hosting will be suspended/terminated. Another downside of unlimited hosting providers are very strict CPU and memory usage restrictions. Unlimited hosting providers are generally designed for small traffic sites.
$0.99 is not that much, so you can give them a try and see how it works!
This is a really good offer. But I don’t expect good customer support from them… anyway, it’s almost FREE, so there is nothing much to lose.
